Kalajoen Teräs has a professional and effective 10 person installation team. The team handles the installation of bridge railings, steel structures and road railings reliably within schedule.
Our installation team works in the entirety of Finland on our own installation projects, and as custom fitters on projects for our clients. We use modern equipment that ensures a safe and efficient installation job.
Kalajoen Teräs manufactures and installs high quality bridge and steel structures and products with over 80 years of experience. The products are surface treated according to the subscriber’s plans and instructions and shipped to or installed at their destination. Our subjects include:

We delivered and installed the landscape structures for the shopping center Mall of Tripla. The structures have a steel frame made from black steel. The black steel has been galvanized and painted. The outer shell of the structures has been lined with stainless steel panels.
We have increased our cutting capacity with a new Bystronic laser cutter. The machine is a 10kW fiber laser that has a working area of 1500×3000 mm. We have achieved precise results with materials up to 20 mm in thickness. This project has been partially funded by the EU.

Kalajoen Teräs Oy is a workshop and installing business located in Kalajoki Northern-Ostrobothnia. The business was founded in the year 1996. We operate everywhere in Finland. We have also shipped steel structures to Sweden.
The company has about 40 workers. Our sales in the year 2017 were around 5,5 million euros. Our goal is to increase our market shares as a bridge railing and steel structure manufacturer in Finland and other Nordic countries.
Our business’ new work spaces were finished in the year 2010. We now have 2100m2 of production area altogether. Our machinery has also been upgraded along with our modern work spaces. Thanks to the upgraded equipment we are able to serve our clients even more efficiently with more varied tasks.
Our quality system is based on the SFS-EN ISO 9001 and SFS-EN ISO 3834 quality stanrard systems. Our welders are qualified according to SFS-EN 9606-1 standards.
Inspecta Oy has given us a product certificate 3692-02 that proves that the quality of the products and production fulfills the following requirements:
* Road administration bridge railing production and installation
* Steel structure and bridge equipment production
Inspecta Oy has also given us a product certificate 7891-01 that proves that the production and products fulfill the EN1090-1 requirements.
